Big warm up!

After a chilly start this morning, we'll be heading into a big warm up through the end of the week, especially around the Houston area. We probably won't see 50s again in the Houston area through next week and highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90F Friday and Saturday. A weak front will drop humidity a bit Friday and Saturday, but it will climb once again late in the weekend and into next week. While it does look pretty humid next week, a bit more cloud cover could help keep afternoon temperatures down.
Farther east and over Acadiana, they'll be a warm up as well, but not as extreme. Also, the drying with the cold front Friday and Saturday will be bit more significant. Still, look for highs in the 80s Friday and Saturday.
Rain chances still look very low with only a slight possibility of a brief shower Thursday ahead of the weak cold front. Significant rain chances will hold off until late next week as we get some Pacific moisture moving in ahead of a cold front. Some of the long rang data suggests the front late next week could be pretty strong, so we could see a return of very chilly weather.
Buckle up for some back and forth fall weather! (much better than the stagnate heat of the summer)
God Bless
