Its down right freezing in the Houston area this morning. Temperatures pushed down into the 40s and it feels like mid to lower 40s in the wind. Temps will only warm a little this afternoon with the clouds and the wind as high pressure builds in.
Farther east over Acadiana, temps are continuing to fall which will generally be the case through the day. Winds will also be very gusty with gusts in the 30-35 mph range. Temperatures should eventually bottom out in the upper 40s early tomorrow morning.
Halloween will be very chilly. Winds won't be as strong tomorrow, but still quite gusty. It'll feel like its in the upper 40s during Trick or Treating. The forecast is looking drier too, so don't expect much rain tomorrow. And any light rain, if it occurs, would be in the morning. There actually won't be that much today. Just some batches of light rain here and there which won't amount to much.
Lighter winds are in store Wednesday, but it will remain chilly. After Wednesday, they'll be a gradual warm up through the end of the week and into the weekend. No significant rain in the forecast.
