Changing weather

What a weekend. Pretty awesome fall weather behind last weeks cold front. This week is starting out pretty settle and cool, but this week will be anything but settle. A lot of changing weather.
Clouds will thicken up late today and don't expect much sun through Wednesday. Pacific moisture streaming in from northern Mexico and South Texas will lead to the clouds, and a disturbance will bring some light to moderate rain in late Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Rain will start earlier around Houston and end later over Acadiana as the system will generally track from west to east. Depending on the track of the system, some areas could see 0.75 to 1.5 inches. Higher totals will occur closer to the coast with a drop off in rain totals as you go inland. New Orleans and the Delta region could end up picking up 2-3 inches of rain. A developing low in the Bay of Campeche could try to take on some tropical characteristics as it lifts northward and merges with this system, but there are not hurricane or tropical storm concerns for our region.
Behind the Pacific system, warm and humid weather will settle in Thursday and Friday before the next cold front blasts through and brings us another nice weekend.
