Its happening!!!

We got showers and embedded thunderstorms moving in this morning which marks the start of some awesome fall weather. They'll be some cooler air behind these storms today, but the really colder and drier air doesn't start moving in until tomorrow evening. Saturday and Sunday will feel like we're on another planet with highs in the 70s and really low humidity. You better get your gumbo paraphernalia now! Lows are trending towards the colder side of the data we were looking at yesterday...as expected. They'll be a lot of 50s Sunday and Monday morning and some portions of Acadiana could get into the 40s!

Looking at next week, the switch as really flipped as we are looking very fall-ish. There are even signs of El Nino waking up (as far as our weather) and we could see some Pacific moisture streaming in. This would mean more clouds and a return to rain chances. Still a lot to be worked out with that though.

Praise God for the wet and cooler weather...its time!
