Warm/Humid Weekend...Cold Halloween

No big changes in the forecast today. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible in the Houston area today with only a few light showers possible over Acadiana. Areas west of Houston will see the best chance of rain.

The weekend looks warm and humid, and winds won't be as strong as they've been the last couple days. Stronger winds will be in the forecast; however, behind the cold front that will sweep through late Sunday evening over Houston and early Monday morning over Acadiana. As mentioned before, MUCH colder air will spread in behind the front with highs going from 80s to 60s and lows dropping from the 70s to the 40s. Acadiana might even see some 30s Wednesday and Thursday morning! Regarding those highs, if there is rain around, temperatures might not get out of the 50s Tuesday. Trick or Treating going to be very chilly!!

Looking closer at the rain, it still looks like the front will sweep through without much fan fare (besides the drop in temps!). But Pacific moisture and upper level energy will produce some areas of rain behind the front Monday through Tuesday morning. It still looks like rain will end for Trick or Treating.

Have a great weekend and God Bless!
